Day
01 : Balikpapan - Samarinda - Mahakam (LD)
Upon
arrival at Balikpapan airport, meeting service and
directly transfer by bus/minibus to Loa Janan, then
boarding houseboat for exciting adventure on Mahakam
river. On the way, you are going to see beautiful
scenery on the left & right side Mahakam river, Meals
provided and overnight on houseboat.
Day
02 : Muara Muntai - Tanjung Issuy (BLD)
Morning arrival in Muara Muntai, sightseeing in villages
where you will see and pass the hard woodeen road. Then
crossing the river to Jempang lake to reach Tanjung Isuy.
A welcome ceremony and dance will be presented. During
the cruise you will see wildlife at Ohong creek, birds,
monkeys. Meals and overnight at Long House.
Day
03 : Tanjung Issuy - Tenggarong - Balikpapan (BLD)
Early in the morning down stream by houseboat to
Tenggarong. Arrive at Tenggarong visiting the former
palace of Sultan Kutai Kertanegara. Where you will see
the Sultan's impressive collection of heirlooms,
ceramics, Dayak's art and culture items. Afterwards
transfer to Balikpapan and check in at hotel.
Day
04 : Balikpapan - Pangkalanbun - Tanjung Puting (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport to
catch flight leaving for Pangkalanbun. Upon arrival at
Iskandar airport of Pangkalanbun, meeting service and
transfer to Kumai aboard the motorboat cruising up
Sekonyer river. Along the river you can enjoy the
beautiful flora and fauna, like birds, monkeys, gibbons,
and other wonderful creatures of Borneo. Overnight at
Rimba Lodge
Day
05 : Tanjung Harapan - Pondok Tanggui - Camp Leakey (BLD)
Breakfast at Rimba Lodge, leave the lodge to visit
Pondok Tanggui an Orang Utan Rehabilitation center up
Sekonyer river, then proceed to Camp Leakey, research
and rehabilitation center of the Orang Utan. Trekking
through the tropical flora, afterwards return to Rimba
Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day
06 : Tanjung Harapan - Kumai - Pangkalanbun (BLD)
After breakfast, cruise down Sekonyer River for return
to Kumai. Arrive at Kumai direct transfer to your hotel
for accommodation.
Day
07 : Pangkalanbun - next destination
After breakfast, morning free at leisure,. the transfer
to the airport for your onward flight. |
