We
can arrange flights to and from Balikpapan, from nearly
any major airport in the world. Whether connecting via
Jakarta or Singapore, or direct to Balikpapan, let us
handle the arrangements so you can concentrate on the
most important part of your vacation: fun! There are
direct international flights between Balikpapan and
Singapore three time in a week via Silk Air and between
Balikpapan and Malaysia twice in a week by Malaysia
airline. so anytime you want to come.
WHAT TO BRING TO TANJUNG PUTING
Light
clothing including long pants and long sleeves, good
footwear, insect repellent, sun block, binoculars, rain
coat/poncho.
DRY
SEASONS : May to November although rain can occur
anytime.
RAINY SEASONS : December through April with rainfall
heaviest in December and February.
THE PHPA GUEST HOUSE is a small guests house with simple
and clean rooms. Different from other lodge, this simple
guest house was founded to support the Orang Utan
Rehabilitation Center. It is managed by the rangers who
also work for the reserve.
To be
participate in this trip require you and all to be in
good health. Any medical problems or dietary
restrictions should be advised to us before departure.
ORANG
UTANS CAN VERY EASILY CONTACT HUMAN DISEASES. THE
PURPOSE OF ORANG UTANS BACK INTO THE WILD. IT IS A GREAT
PRIVILEGE TO OBSERVE THESE ORANG UTANS IN THEIR NATURAL
HABITAT. WE DO NOT ENCOURAGE ANY INITIATION OF DIRECT
HUMAN CONTACT.
We have
the right to disqualify any participant it found
physically incapable and/or if a participant's will
jeopardize either individual involved or the group. No
refund will be given under such circumstances.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
Passport must have at least 06 months validity to enter
Indonesia.
A photocopy of your passport picture page and copy of
your white immigration card is required for entry permit
to the reserve.
BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS:
Domestic flights in Indonesia restrict passengers to
20kg (44 lbs) each. The Das flight between Banjarmasin -
Pangalan Bun restrict passenger to 10kg

You have a wide variety of choices. We always provide
your accommodation with standard hotel or Middle class
hotel like " Marga Jaya Hotel ", Pirus Hotel, Gading
Kencana Hotel, Tepian Hotel *. And the best available
hotels in the certain regions like ; Samarinda,
Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Palangkaraya, Pangkalanbun, and
Pontianak, etc. but if you like to stay in real luxury
like " Bumi Senyiur hotel ****, Mesra Hotel ***, Dusit
Inn Hotel ****, Barito Palace hotel ***, Kalimantan
hotel **** Just let us know.
And if you
take our hard-adventure tours like ; Mahakam river
remote area, Apokayan Hinterland and trans Borneo, then
you will not find better comfort accommodation than
staying in the local people houses or at a very clear
simple homestay.
What is
Included in our Package Tour :
The rate that will be given to you includes all
land-transportation and accommodation during your trip ;
entrance fees, Guide fees, Porterage , Refreshment,
boat-hire and donation. Fullboard is provided in some of
our specialized package tours but if you would prefer to
have a half board ( Breakfast & Dinner ), it can also be
arranged so. |
