Day
01 : Bali - Maumere
Depart from Bali by Merpati
Nusantara Airlines flight to
Maumere in Flores Island. Upon
arrival at Waioti airport of
Maumere, transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon city sightseeing will be
made afterward. Dinner and
Overnight at Sao Wisata Resort or
similar.
Day 02 : Maumere - Larantuka
After breakfast the hotel we will
drive heading to the east of the
island to reach Larantuka by local
known as a town of Renha Rosari.
This is a center of Roman Catholic
on the island. Every corner of the
town is mainly representing symbol
of the religious items. Enjoy the
beauty of the town visiting
traditional village in Larantuka.
Dinner and overnight at hotel in
Larantuka.
Day
03 : Larantuka - Maumere - Moni
After breakfast at hotel, drive to
Maumere and proceed to
Moni through a scenic area of Paga,
Wolowaru and Jopu Ranggase. Lunch
will be served at local restaurant
in Wolowaru. Then proceed to Moni
to check in at Flores Sare Inn or
similar. Dinner and overnight at
Hotel.
Day
04 : Moni - Kelimutu - Welambasa
Early morning drive up to Kelimutu,
see the three colored lakes. Upon
arrival. walk 1,5km to view the
spectacular of the Hard Red, light
blue and black color of the
Kelimutu lake. Down to Moni,
proceed to Maumere with stop at
Ropa for a pure beach and also
witness how the locals sells their
commodity at the local market.
Here you will also find that the
barter system still exist. (A
traditional dance and traditional
wedding ceremony performed by
locals at Welambasa village. You will also
enjoy lunch with head of the
tribes and also able to see the
elementary school in the remote
area). Overnight at the local
house.
Day 05 : Welambasa - Ropa -
Riung
After breakfast, we will have
culture orientation from the guide
with long story about this people,
before we head to the west to
reach Riung. Stop in Ropa to see
the local market, witness how the
barter trading system are still
exist in some items selling. Drive
to Riung with en-route stop
according to the local happenings.
Dinner and overnight at PONDOK SVD
or similar
Day
06 : Riung
After
breakfast, sail to Pulau Tujuh
Belas (Seventeen islands)
spreading just a few step from the
mainland of Riung in Flores
island. This is the nature
preservation. Enjoy snorkel in
enormous "aquarium"
siesta on white sandy beach of
Pulau Rutong, take short walks
circling the island. Picnic lunch
at Rutong beach. Sail
to Pulau Kalong, see myrids of bat
colony hanging over mangroves
tree. Late afternoon return
sailing to Riung mainland. Dinner
and overnight stay at Pondok SVD
Riung.
Day
07 : Riung - Bajawa
After
breakfast, again we will make the
same itinerary as day 04th
visiting the seventeen islands to
enjoy the beautiful of underwater
exploration on the small islands
in the northern of Flores. In the
afternoon return to Riung Mainland
and proceed to Bajawa. Dinner and
overnight stay at Kembang hotel or
similar
Day 08 : Bajawa - Bena - Ruteng
After breakfast at hotel,
excursion to Bena passing through
huge and gigantic bamboo
plantation, picture Inerie volcano
and take short walks in the
vicinity. Arrive in Bena, see
traditional houses and megalithic
tombs, learn the meaning of
Ngadhu and Bhaga, symbolizing male
and female of ancestral spirits.
Continue the trip with en-route
viewing the beauty of Mount Inerie,
then Ranames Lake. The process of
making palm wine could be seen at
Airmere. Lunch en-route. Dinner
and overnight at Wisma Dahlia at
Ruteng.
Day
09 : Ruteng - Labuan Bajo
After
an early breakfast, depart for a
halfday trek to Mount Ranaka.
During the active condition,
instead of trekking we will
replace the program with visiting
local market, Ruteng Pu
traditional village, then Cancar
and Lembor irrigation area. Lunch
en-route. Arrive at Labuan Bajo,
direct to New Bajo Beach Hotel or
similar for your dinner and
accommodation. Afternoon visit
Cermin cave and bukit Pramuka for
the sunset.
Day 10 : Labuan Bajo
All meals provided. All our day
will be free at leisure.
Accommodation at the hotel in
Labuan Bajo.
Day
11 : Labuan Bajo - Rinca Island
After
breakfast, we boating heading to
Rinca island - stop at Bidadari or
the beach around to enjoy
beautiful beach, relaxation, swim,
snorkel. Lunch provided on board.
In the afternoon, we will slowly
entering the port of Rinca island
while enjoy the sunset down the
sea. Dinner and overnight on
board.
Day
12 : Rinca - Padar - Komodo
After
breakfast, start the exploration
of the island by half an hour walk to see the Komodo
dragon, the largest monitor
lizards in the world, in their
natural habitat. The island is
also home to the mound-building
megapode bird, the sulfur-crested
cockatoo, the noisy friar bird and
tropical flora. Return to the
harbour for sailing to Komodo
island with
lunch on board. Stop at Beach
around the island for
relax, swim, snorkel before
continue our trip to Rinca and
Komodo island. Late afternoon arrive in
Komodo Port, dinner and overnight
on board
Day
13 : Komodo - Sape - Bima
After
breakfast, again we will start the exploration
of the island by half an hour walk to
Banunggulung to see the Komodo
dragon, the largest monitor
lizards in the world, in their
natural habitat. The island is
also home to the mound-building
megapode bird, the sulfur-crested
cockatoo, the noisy friar bird and
tropical flora. Return to the
harbour for sailing to Sape harbor with
lunch on board. Stop at Pink Beach
on the other site of the island
for
relax, swim, snorkel before
continue our trip to Sape harbor
(east part of Sumbawa). Late afternoon arrive in
Sape Port, direct transfer to Bima
town to stay at the hotel for an
overnight stay.
Day
14 : Bima - Denpasar (Bali) or
Next Destination
After
breakfast, a city sightseeing to
visit Sultan Palace of Bima will
be made before transfer to the
airport. Depart to Bali or your
next destination
