Nias Island lies about 125 km off west Sumatera Island on the Indian Ocean. It is part of North Sumatera Province. The water surround the island is great for sea activities, such as surfing and scubadiving. The people also have curious culture, that will enrich visitor's heart. The island has some prehistoric remains, which built on megalithic stone-age, and considered came from the oldest megalithic culture in Indonesia.

Surfers will call this island "Paradise on Earth". Together with its beautiful white sandy beach, Lagundri Bay challenge surfers with spectacular waves. In the high season the waves told to be as high as 3.5 meters. The waves of Sorake Beach on Lagundri Bay has ranked to be within the best ten waves of the world. It is true if some surfers referred the waves of Sorake Beach as "the most notorious right-band reef breaks". There are events held for surfers, including the World Professionals Qualifying Series. Surfers are better be ready when your heart can not leave this island after a visit.

5days Nias Island Tours

Day 01 : Medan (North Sumatera) - Gunung Sitoli (Nias)
Transfer to domestic airport for flight to Nias island. Arrive in Binaka Airport of Nias island transfer to Bamboo house. Then drive to South of Nias. Check In in Harus Damai Inn. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Teluk Dalam - Exploration
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Bawamataluo ' the sung hill village "  to observe the king's house, megalith stones and hundred of traditional houses. Then visit Orahili and Teluk Dalam. Afternoon visit Botohilitano and Hiliamaetaniha village. Stay overnight in Harus Damai Inn.

Day 03 : Sorake Beach - Free at Leisure
All meals will be served. Suggested activities : Swimming onto Indian Ocean, Fishing, Lying on the white sandy or sun bathing. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 04 : Sorake Beach - Gunung Sitoli
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Gunungsitoli and up on arrival visit traditional of Tumori village in the northern part  of Nias. Check in Miga Beach Cottage. Stay over night at hotel.

Day 05 : Gunung Sitoli - Medan
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Binaka airport for return flight to Medan. Tour Ends.
