Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park

The Bukit Tigapuluh National Park is an are with 143,143 hectares on the low land area of eastern Sumatra, included into two provinces , Riau and Jambi. Ecologically, this area is classified as low land tropical rainforest, with some intra ecosystem inside like swamp and highland.

Day 01 : Jambi Arrival
Arrive and picked up at Jambi Airport, check in for hotel accomodation , visit Batik Village at the afternoon, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 : Bukit 30 National Park
Land travel to Rengat, report to the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park Office and have a brief explanation about the park. After lunch, start driving our 4x4 vehicle up to the Granite Camp, stay overnight on a fly camp. Night time will be very fascinating as you will enjoy the sounds of nocturnes hunt their prey with very scaring sounds

Day 03 : Bukit 30 National Park
Walk down to Gangsal River, a few hours walking in the canopies. Primates will dominates this walk up above of your canopies. Meet our boat driver and start the adventure by the riverboat downstream. We will stay overnight in a safe and very relaxing river banks downstream. try to prepare your own meal by fishing on the river. But we will have them set for you if you failed anyway.

Day 04 : Bukit 30 National Park
Continue downstream and enter the village of Talang Mamak Tribe. try to explore their culture, speak with them and enjoy their pride. You can also explore their long believed folklores of Dewa Rimau, the Tiger-faced God which represent the power of another living souls outside human worlds.After lunch we will have a ritual dance performed by little girls of the tribe. We will stay overnight close to their village

Day 05 : Bukit 30 National Park
After breakfast we will pack up and continue boating and paddling downstream of the Gangsal River, and finish our adventure. Board up to the 4x4 and continue land travel to Rengat.You will be booked a room on a very nice lodge just near by the Rengat River

Day 06 : Bukit 30 National Park - Jambi
Land travel to Jambi after breakfast, and night time optional for you to enjoy special traditional dance show at Kajanglako Art Center

Day 07 : Jambi - Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your next destination flight.

Target Specification
This 7 days package will take you up on the lowland hilly terrain. Special distinct geological phenomenon like the basement uplifting faults which displace the overlying hydrocarbon reservoir rock formation. The formation of igneous rocks along the district vary from Upper Jurassic to tertiary. The adventure will start from Camp Granite and continue paddling downstream along the Gangsal River stream. Whitewater river, big trees canopies and the daily live of the jungle people, Talang Mamak Tribe and also their rituals will be the most unforgettable moments during your trip.
