The Lai Lai Mutiara is one of the many locally operated and inexpensive
budget style hotels available in Nagoya. It is very centrally located close to
the entertainment district, karaokes and local food outlets and is popular with

The Lai Lai is typical of very many low cost hotels available
in and around Nagoya. The facilities are clean and well maintained and represent
excellent value at the rates being asked. Rooms are quite spacious though with
basic furnishings. Bathrooms have Western toilets and showers with plenty of hot
water. Be aware that some standard rooms do not have windows, there may be smoke
odours until the individually controlled air con kicks in and there is no
elevator – only stairs to the upper rooms.
